Guided Hypnotic Meditation

In its essence, hypnotic meditation is all about controlling your attention. At times it requires you to narrow your attention by concentrating on a single point of focus, such as you’re breathing or a candle flame, while at other times it asks you to broaden your attention to notice the images, sounds, sensations, and thoughts passing calmly and objectively through your awareness. Narrowing your focus to the exclusion of all distractions can create the illusion of merging with the things you're focusing on, which creates a sense of oneness with the world around you. In addition, the ability to calmly observe your thoughts without getting distracted or caught up by them affords much greater mental clarity, which in turn helps you make better decisions.
